Classic colours in stock are: black, tan, dark brown, olive green and navy blue. Other colours will require dyeing or sourcing to order and will require extra lead time of one week.
Styles:
Simple: A sleek and simple watch strap using a single layer of full grain leather. No stitching or extra details- perfect for the minimalist looking for a piece that will patina and age well.
Classic- Double layered and hand stitched watch strap- colour top, natural below. A solid and classic constructed watch strap. Choose to have it with contrasting thread if you wish. Please consult in store or message me on Instagram prior to ordering.
NATO- A simple single band in the NATO strap style. Incorporating 4-5 oval rings and a buckle to simply lace your watch face to.
Embossed- A hand embossed strap with your own custom design. Completely had carved by Christine Lau. Have it a singe colour in a rich antique effect, or meticulously painted with details popping out to tell a tale.
Aviator “Bund” Strap- A highly detailed stitched watch strap with a nest for the watch face. Brogued hole-punch details are optional for a sportsman aesthetic.
Military Origin: "Bund" is short for Bundeswehr (German Federal Defense), created to protect pilots from metal cases that could freeze or become scorching hot in aircraft cockpits.
Design: It consists of a standard two-piece strap with a large leather pad, sometimes called an "American plate," that sits under the watch.
Functionality: Beyond temperature protection, it prevents sweat from entering the watch and offers comfort during long wear.
Style: Popularized in the 1970s and worn by icons like Steve McQueen, it is known for adding a "bold and rugged" look to watches, often making smaller watches appear larger.
