A beautifully hand carved bracelet inspired by waves. Dyed a dark stormy sea teal and then filigree carved by hand to bring out the colour below. It is also adjustable for size using the button stud.

Made using American Hermann Oak Vegetable tanned tooling leather.

Vegetable tanned leather: Leather in it's most malleable and simplistic form. Vegetable tanned leather is the more time consuming and eco friendly techniques to tan leather. Rather than taking just a few days to tan with chemicals like the Chrome tanning technique would require, Veg Tanning uses natural tannins like tree bark and tea to make the by-product leather in to a useable and long lasting material. As a result, Veg tan leather can be embossed and nourished continuously over it's lifetime to make a product that will likely outlive it's owner!
