Hey, i'm Christine!
I've been a game artist for the better part of seven years and have loved every second of it. At the same time, i've always been fascinated by the traditional arts. Inspired by games, film, culture and history around the world, I took up a fascination with leather craft after many years of loving the products made from it. I loved seeing carved leather armour in fantasy films like The Lord of the Rings and also antique suitcases and shoes in real life. Naturally, I gravitated towards it, teaching myself the historical craft of leather tooling, embossing, moulding, painting and sewing. I mish-mashed my skills as an illustrator in to leathercraft. So what you can find in Cleathercrafts is a culmination of all my experience and fantastical ideas.
"Cleathercrafts" is simply "C" from "Christine", and "Leathercrafts" from... well, "Leathercrafts". The plural word is there because I offer more than one craft in my store. I learnt sewing from an early age, and have explored tailoring, dress and shirtmaking. I'm always on the hunt for new crafts to learn. And as I try to forge my path as a crafter, I hope you'll enjoy my work and perhaps become a collector of it for yourself.
